if you say so. You can let us know when the first flights to MIA from each carrier was but I'm pretty sure DL's roots in MIA go back for decades.
Right now, DL is focused on the west coast where DL's growth has made it the #2 of the 3 legacy carriers behind UA - and ahead of AA despite the merger.
BTW, DL's first SEA-HKG flight is on approach to HKG at the moment I wrote this post.
Perhaps when DL feels comfortable with where it is in SEA, they'll start building out MIA-Latin America.
It's not a question of if but when. For now, it will be the addition of SLC on a holiday seasonal basis.
