Although the crowd seemed to not reach the two-thirds majority needed to affirm the vote, the chair did so anyways. Now, it appears that the result was already forecast, planted in the prompter prior to the vote ever taking place.

I guess the Dems don't trust their delegates to vote correctly. I guess I can't blame them.

It's not as if any lengthy speech was involved! 😉 Of course; that pales in comparison to the unbelivable stupidity of the "handlers", which was made abundantly clear through everyone seeing the pre-set (we're voting!...ummm....but not really...just kidding!) teleprompter on world-wide media! Ummm.....and these morons, who aren't even smart enough to cover their arses inside their own convention, run the country? Sheesh! Words just fail me here.....

Oh well. Assuming the news coverage adequately reflected the audio levels of the ayes and no's; there's just NO way they got the 2/3rds the teleprompter demanded. Folks...you just can't make this kind of stuff up. 😉

I was watching the clip on the Daily Show. Stewart had a pretty good bit on it. The guy calling the vote called the vote three times to get the out come he wanted. Seems like he thought the whole thing was a joke (may be he knew about the out come already????) because he was laughing. Just another example of political expediency trumping the will of the people. Who cares where Israel puts their capital and who cares if god is mentioned in the platform?

Who cares if God and Jerusalem are mentioned? South Florida. Ohio. Swing states with large populations of Catholic and Jewish voters who take those things quite seriously. More seriously than the progressives and Complainer-in-Chief.
