The financial condition of the United States is horrible. The Politician continue to spend and spend. Perhaps a "Bean Counter" Extraordinaire is the answer.

Any of who have been involved with US Airways as a customer or employee knows he can squeeze a nickle and get six pennies to fall from his hand. Maybe he could work his cost cutting spread sheet magic in DC? Heck he could make Jerry Glass Secretary of Labor, Elise Eberwein, Chief of Staff. Let Isom run the Defense Department and I'm sure they can find something for Scott to do besides chase broads.

Might be worth a shot, I mean really could it be worse?

Sure, we could get stuck with someone like you. I'd prefer to have someone that has actually done something with their life instead of someone that just sits on the internet and bitches about one company incessantly.

I wasn't complaining and I was actually half to 3/4ths serious.

I do so love personal attacks instead of substance. Another single wide moment brought you by the cynic 😀

The man cant merge an airline, how do you expect him to run a nation?

EXACTLY! There are enough idiots in Washington contributing to The Mess this Country is In. I actually have more faith in Obama (and that's a scretch) than ANY confidence in 'what's his name'. This subject matter is Pure BS on ANY given day.

If Parker were running the US the unemployment would be at 18% and we'd be taxed on everything from air to swimming in the ocean. Of course we don't have to pay the tax, just don't breathe or swim.

Hmm..... How bout Doug for Treasury Sec'y. Elise for White House Spokesperson? The "Glasshole" for Labor Sec'y, not so much.

My purpose in creating this thread was to add some levity but to also to make the point that maybe it's time for some Business Acumen in Washington DC. A serious discussion of Mr Parker's Qualifications was not on my radar screen. If we are going to have some fiscal responsibility then I think the Bean Counter needs to sit in the big chair.

So your saying he would be exactly like Obama.

Parker does seem to tolerate gridlock (witness the never-ending pilot contract situation) so perhaps he preside over the USA without accomplishing much.
