In my opinion religion in any form when taken to extreme is a danger to the world.
A document that says it is OK to stone and adulterer is not goofy?
Tell that to the relatives of 911.Yes the bible is just as goofy as the torah as the Quran .... They are all goofy. They are just as goofy as the idiots who take the documents literally.
Primitive? Tell that to the relatives of the July 7th bombing in the UK.Yes, Christians for the most parts have moved away from violence. They are now moving into the legal forum. The fundamentalist of Isam are still primitive and using violence. Hopefully they too will mature and move on. There is o guarantee.
So you equate terrorist attacks to woman suffrage? Do yourself a favor and stop watching what MSM spoon feeds the masses. The reality will stun you.Yes, a bit longer. Civil rights act was only passed 44 years ago. Women only got suffrage in 1920. Man has been around for a few centuries. A hundred years or so is only a blink of an eye.

Q: Is the President concerned that Pakistani nuclear scientist A.Q. Khan will be a proliferation risk, now that he’s been released from house arrest? And will he renew the US request for him to be interviewed by US intelligence?
Gibbs: Uh, obviously we’ve seen the reports of the release, but have not received, uh, have yet to receive official word, uh, from the government. Uh. Obviously this President has made clear, uh, many times, the great concern he has for nuclear proliferation, uh, and, uh, as we hear from the government about, uh, these reports, uh, obviously, uh, the President, uh, and this government want assurances that, uh, that Dr. Khan is not involved or engaged in, uh, any of the activity, uh, uh, that resulted in, uh, in, in his house arrest earlier.
ROBERT GIBBS
White House Press Secretary on Release of AQ Khan
At fridays press briefing, this was Robert Gibbs’ response to a question about whether Barack Obama is concerned about the release of nuclear black marketeer A.Q. Khan:
That’s telling ‘em.
Biden told delegates at a security conference that the United States will work "preventively, not pre-emptively" whenever possible to avoid conflict, and will at the same time "vigorously defend" the nation's security.
So now we return to Sept 10th 2001..."We reject as false the choice between our safety and ideals"
The confidence is underwhelming..."If we do everything right, if we do it with absolute certainty, there's still a 30 percent chance we're going to get it wrong,"
Vice President acknowledged Democrats could face political repercussions in 2010 for their support of the economic stimulus package.

Like I said before...Not all Muslims are Terrorists, but in our present day, it just so happens that all terrorists just so happen to be Muslim. The extremists in the group are the ones who are weeding out the non believers. It just so happens that if you are Muslim you get a free pass. If not, then...The terrorists are no more Muslim than the then people who shoot doctors who perform abortions or the people who burned witches, or the people who called the Native Americans Heathens ... etc. Religion in my opinion is essentially peaceful. There are portions of the bible that are violent. There are portions of the Torah are violent and there are portions of the Bible that are violent. The people who pervert the religion for their own gains are, in my opinion not being true to their religion.
You mean primitive like the very well educated doctor responsible for the 2007 Glasgow Airport bombing?Yes they are primitive. I define any nation governed by religion as primitive. They allow their country to be controlled by religious fanatics. Hopefully they will eventually out grow that as we did.
And somehow you equate this to Muslim extremism? It pales in comparison my little uneducated friend.I never equated suffrage with terrorism. What I said was that it was not too long ago that the US was, to a degree, ruled by religious zealots who thought it was OK to deny blacks equal rights and that it was gods will. It was not too long ago that the US justified it's expansionism on 'divine destiny'.
You mean that ever successful Arab rehabilitation program that released 11 gitmo grads back into Al-Queda?From what I have read there are a growing number of moderates in the Arab nations who want to get rid of their radical governments. Unfortunately, the west keeps giving the radical governments fodder to stay in power.
I define any nation governed by religion as primitive.
Not sure what you are reading but I said and I quote:
I said nothing about education or anything else.
I did not equate the two other than to say the US was governed by misguide religious principles and we moved on. Perhaps the Arab nations governed by religious whack jobs will also out grow their primitive ways.
No, I'm talking about the students in schools that listen to western music and wear western clothing. I'm talking about stuff like this:
