E-mails Form Northwest Airlines Pilots

Maybe they are happy with the work being performed and have no resentment towards the scabs thus have no demeaning comments that you guys wish for so much.
Not from the 5 or 6 pilots I talked to on the picket line. They distrust your inept scab work, and from what I have read and the people I know on the inside at NWA, they have good reason. NWA is scabby mess. You have even stated its a mess PTO, and scabs are quiting. NWA will be very lucky if they escape a tragic smoking hole. Its been damn close aready. Will NWA continue to roll the dice? Not with my life, or anyone I care about.

Hackman, Aren't you an AA employee? Would you say that the AMT's there are confident mechanics? Do you understand that close to half of the scabs here are X-AA and X-TWA employees? Do you think they lost their mechanical abilities just because they became scabs? Is this the way you treat your brothers? The ones that were ousted and feel that the unions that they paid their hard earned money to were 100% incapable of retaining their jobs. The X-AA mechanics that are here are really pissed off at the fact that there are TWA AMT's still there working while they got laid off. What did the union do for them? Do you really think that they give a damn that you call them scabs? I promise you that they could care less about any union. Were you a TWA employee and how many do you know that are still punching the clock at AA while your brothers stood in the unemployment line? I myself was pretty much neutral when it came to unions until I came to this board, now I am ready to jump at any opportunity to scab for any airline. You guys really need to work on your PR skills. Why don't you call one of your AA scab buddies and ask him how his inept scab work is doing?

PlaytheCods, I do not know what NWA scabs did before they prostituted themselves and their families to corporate greed. Most of the NWA scabs are wrench gypsies like yourself, as my sources at NWA have stated. No scab is my brother, they are yours. I do know that layoffs are a fact of life in the airline business. I have been promoting AMFA for many years because the Totally Worthless Union is disfunctional, corrupt, and I have no say in who is running it. AMFA is the only viable choice for the AMT today, and that is why so many airlines now have them. If you would start to do some reseach, for one, read the AMFA constitution and then read the twu or the iam constitution, you would start to understand the difference.

Your lying when you state you were "neutral" on unions before you came to this board, you stated before you have hated all unions and that is why your scabbing at NWA. Correct? Now your changing your story? The AA/TWA intergration was decided by a man named Kasher, and he made the ruling as an arbitrator. Nothing against the TWA people, but I feel AA buying the WHOLE airline during a downturn in the ecomony was a huge mistake and one that AA employees are paying dearly for. Then 9-11 happened and it really exacerbated this very poor business decision. The TWA employees did have a paycheck for a longer period of time than if AA would have not bought the airline out.

As I have previously stated, your a scab because you couldn't get on at a major for some reason. If you could have, you would be working for one long before you turned to being a lowlife scab. NWA has long had a reputation for bad employee relations, they are the most struck carrier flying. For anyone to now think they would have any type of future working there, is a fool.

Correct? Yes maybe so but then again maybe not so. More than likely not so but who knows?
Nothing but more "PlaytheCods" bovine scab jibberish. Who knows? Not you scab boy, that's for sure.

Very interesting reading. Why do you have such issues with the truth Big E? You people demand to know where the other work groups are at in all of this and then when you are told, you bash them. I think that the only thing that makes you guys happy is when you are getting over on the company. That is why you support unions that you hate, they allow you to get over.

I guess no one knows, but what would you expect out of a bunch of AA trolls? We had another meeting where cell phones was brought up again and it was said "We had a bad problem with cell phones before the strike and we will not tolerate the abuse of cell phones here again." I can just picture 450 AMFA AMT's sitting around the break rooms yakking into their cell phones about nothing but unions just like you guys do here.
