The bid for the 190 is supposed to be out in mid may. After that, the training classes will be one capt and one f/o. The f/o's will all be new hires.
The new hire classes starting late summer I believe, will start in the new MCO campus. Once selected for training, they will be given a choice on what aircraft they will start on. Their start date will depend on the mix of seats available (bus vs. 190) and where they fit in the mix. If they select the bus, they will be trained on the bus and the 190 is out of their career until the fence comes down mid 2007.
If they bid the 190 and start training, they will make less money than their classmates on the bus but will be able to upgrade sooner on the 190. This is supposed to have the effect of evening out the earnings over the first 2-3 years on the property.
