Lowest fare on the flights you book if avalable from what I understand. Good luck finding cheap seats open

That's my understanding also - based on the lowest fare available that you qualify for (i.e. - booking day before can't use 14 day advance purchase fare).

Good luck getting the discount...I am about $180 extra out of pocket because I could not get the employee travel part of the website to give me the discount. The company wrongly claimed it was an AWA flight segement, and it was not. In fact, I knew the U crew who flew it...PIT-FLL-PIT.

I am now on my fourth letter to U worker bees. My next is to Doug...I support my own airline by buying tickets, and cannot take advantage of a benefit touted by management.

You have to call reservations to get the 20% off, and yes it is 20% off of what is available. The online discount tool has not worked since they relaunched the ETC.

ED20s are also valid now on any fare. In the past, they were only good on the excursion fares. I still believe it is only good on your carrier (East/West). (And here I thought we were all one carrier!) 😉

They are still way to expensive, you can usually do better on the internet.
