The EU has always paid far more for gas. That is why they have train systems to take people around the country, and it's why big asseed SUV's and dually pickups aren't very popular there. Oh yeah....and it's why a lot of people actually ride those Chinese bicycles to work.
It's a lot more than I was paying under Biden and it's a lot more than I was paying before we decided to flex our war muscles with our new Department of War whose decision was made because of their cakewalk in Venezuela. A trillion dollar budget with a requested increase of half a trillion before the war, and after just 30 days an additional request of another quarter trilllion. We are throwing money at a war and we are getting nowhere. Maybe they should change the name back to the Department of DEFENSE and not be so trigger happy to go on the offense. Yes...gas was high for a few months in 2022. But it came down in 2023 and 2024. And I am paying more today than I was in 2023 and 2024, which were also years when Biden was president. And yes....in 2025, gas was even lower. But since the end of February, the price of gas here (which was never close to $5) started going back to levels I was paying in 2023...which is a year that Biden was president.Your Biden comment is a lie.
