Norway's Rainy-day fund is the envy of every country in the world, simply because of the NORTH SEA (Oil).
As you further know, Norway's Oil production, these last(very few years) is 'OFF'. This has forever been a cyclical fact of the industry, again, as you Know. The Oil in the North Sea isn't going anywhere, and will rebound.
As for Iceland,Denmark and the Netherlands, what oil they have is miniscule, compared to the Home of the Vikings !

In Denmark I see what 'could happen' there, what has already happened here, that being how we raised the retirement age (for Full SS), because people ARE living longer just about everywhere.
