The same company the want to keep "theirs" is the same company that screwed them just as any other airline in BK. Get over it. Where is all of the money comming from to produce this stuff? Are they NOT in BK? For a company so smart, Delta sure does spend a lot of cash when the don't really have the cash to be spending. Hopefully it doesn't all total 8billion and 1 dollar. All that money could go towards keeping precious Delta just how they want it, THEIRS! ! !

Let's be honest here. When DP first announced we (AWA) were going to merge with US Airways most of us thought OMFG what in the hell is DP doing? But, DP quickly got us together and communicated to us the importance and significance of the merger and many of our fears were put to rest. Now take Delta...their CEO is obvisously...at minimum...fighting for his job and not helping the Delta employees look at this merger objectively. Hell he probably purchased the buttons himself. Take it with a grain of salt.

Oh don't get me started on those uniforms. They are horrible, yes they are designer, but Richard Tyler designed them for runway models. Not flight attendants pushing galley carts. :blink:

Horrible amounts of money were spent on that project that averaged thousands of dollars per employee :down: . At least the guy desiging ours knows they are for working in not strutting down the runway. Our new uniform is not red and it will be designed to look good on our larger brothers and sisters.

I call them Dynasty dresses after the old soap opera. No girl I know would ever serve food/drink in their prom dress.

Jerry is getting up there in age. He has publically stated that after DL emerges from bankruptcy, he plans to retire.

The buttons are the idea of the Delta Board Council, an employee group that gives input to our BOD on the employee point of view. I do not know who financed the buttons.

The only thing those buttons bought we another 10% and an increase in productivity.... we really don't want Delta... we just want them not to exit BK so easily nor cheaply!

I dont know about anyone else but I want a pin! It seems Delta employees have a pin and FFocus member have mentioned a pin with a flag from the old US days but us old HPers have nada, zippo!! Can I get a pin? Or do we need to design a pin like a pin with a stapler on it. You wouldnt need to put a name on it but that should push their buttons!!(no pun intended!) Any other ideas? Delta, Dawn of the Dead?
