I dont know about anyone else but I want a pin! It seems Delta employees have a pin and FFocus member have mentioned a pin with a flag from the old US days but us old HPers have nada, zippo!! Can I get a pin? Or do we need to design a pin like a pin with a stapler on it. You wouldnt need to put a name on it but that should push their buttons!!(no pun intended!) Any other ideas? Delta, Dawn of the Dead?

according to a union rep 50% of the work group has to vote in afa. since usairways f/a's are already 100% in the union flies. also delta f/a were voting in afa at one time , their voting cards are still active so i beleive it will be transferred over. and doug parker already said he wanted the unions.

Yep sure did hurt since bond holders come in just under the employees in line for claims and this group has NO vote. But then some people just can't read or understand what they link..... :down: Are you kin to the Lavman?

The bond holders are just a step or two above the stock holders, i.e doesn't mean a thing. I hold more weight in the what the major creditors have said pulblcly. See the thread on the DL pilot group. Could be wrong but I believe that they are 6th in line and on the committee. A comittee that has seen and rejected the US offfer over two months ago, but you guys do not want to see that. Wonder boy has something else up his sleeve and it ain't the ace card on the DL table.

Strangely enough most of the DL employees I have spoken with say they would vote union if this goes through. Every one of them had voted no before.

The number one reason is they saw how management at US has treated the employees in the past and now they would have to protect themselves.

They would look like the old KoolAid commercial when the big red pitcher busts through the brick wall. Oh brother...g'night all.

Fortunately, that dress only goes up to size 12 (or maybe 10). That's probably not small enough, though, to keep the borderline "figures" out of them...

Delta employees must realize that the only basic thing that is going to change is some of their top management. They can't be all that thrilled with what they have now, can they???
Remember that the company came out with those Bozo Buttons, not the employees. As I said in another post, I have a family member who was a DL employee for nearly 40 years, and they are not too fond of the current DL management at all. The Delta of today is a far cry from what it once was. Since Ron Allen and Leo Mullin did their damage the employees will never have the respect for the company that they once did. 😛

Went through security thia morning with a Delta crew. They were very freindly. Their pilots asked if we had heard anymore about a merger and what was being said on our side. The F/A's wer great also. They did have buttons that said "Keep Delta, Delta". I was going to suggest we get buttons and put Delta(with a line through it) and then Northwest(saying, "your next".

No quite the opposite. They have had a good working relationship with the management even in the tough times. They know that if Mr Glass and wonder boy get involved they will need protection.

I do have a hunch why you are for this though. YOU WILL GET A PAY RAISE off the backs of all those non union f/a's from DL, so I do beleive I would watch the name calling... Pot, Kettle, Black. Of course that is all dependent on wonder boy honoring his word. Humm, wonder what his record is on that?

I will ask YOU again. If dougie can do away with cost neutral contracts with the merger why can't he do it now? If I were a union member I think I would want an answer to that question first, before anything else. I do believe you are about to drop way down on the list with this merger. You may want to check that out as well..... Can you say BARBIE JET?

My entire department is safe at least if we merge. Delta outsources theres while we do ours in house. I know a lot of people in here wouldn't go though if it was moved to ATL. They like this warm weather way tooo much!
