Someone posted the following on FT a little while ago...

I was just on the phone with Chairmans Desk and as I was finishing up she said "I am sorry I have to rush you but we have to evacuate, there may be a fire"

Since the CP desk was mentioned, I'm assuming this to be at INT. Anyone have any details??

They might be setting up ovens in the basement of the res building to bake those "pecan pies".

No, honestly have not heard about a fire. That would be devistating!

As of 830pm nothing showing on any of the local INT/GSO news stations home pages.

No, it was not! My chp psgr was happy when I called her back and then the night went smoothly! Hopefully you are enjoying your retirement and hope to see you soon in INT!

I can remember time when we weren't evacuated... Sups, Mgrs were looking in drawers, etc. and ignoring our questions. The best evacuation was in the 90's when a manager over-cooked her popcorn in the microwave and the entire building was evacuated when the fire alarms went off..

I was in a building in New York last year in 3 degree weather when the boiler blew and steam leaked up into the building and we were evacuated. We stood outside for about 5 minutes and they sent us home.
