This is a poem that I had to learn, I think it pretty much sums up our current state of affairs.

Excuses are the tools of the imcompent
that create monuments of nothingness
and those that specilize in them
are seldomly good at anything else.

Our customers don't care about FC glassware
Treat them like crap and they still will come back
We suck best and charge more than the rest

I love the chance to write a good haiku

Party cups in First
Regional mentality
Pax leaving in droves

I'm not that talented.

Rose are red
Violets are blue
Be a Chairman for 8 years
and we'll screw you!

Sorry best I could do or maybe not.

There once was a man named Doug Parker
Who was a slick as a carnival barker
All his did was make excuses
create passenger abuses
and US's future got darker & darker

Shouldn't the word Nantucket be in that second poem somewhere?

And I think the first would be better as...

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I wanna be chairman
So I can screw you too!!!!

haha

Excuses are building blocks
To monuments of nothing
And those who use them are seldom
Good for anything else.

Oh baggage, baggage, why so much baggage?
Always on my mind, so tough to manage.

Will there ever be release for my shackled mind?
All of the passenger baggage, and not enough time!

What will become of my poor back?
Way things go, I'm gonna SNAP!

Thought I should check out this post but unfornately NOTHING NEW. THEY Suck, WE ALL KNOW it and such are "The Days of Our Lives".

UNFORTUNATELY is what I intended to say! If I keep making such simple spelling errors, more than likely MAISY will pay a visit to my house  Repeated visits from the rodent will probably get me a Job Promotion in Tempe with Corporate Communications and the Ministry of Spin. (No Thank You.........NOT interested. I don't DO Stupid.)

Here I sit...
Chuckin' bags for a living.

My back hurts...
My knees are quivering.

Pushing planes in the wind, rain, or snow...
It doesn't matter anyway.

Wondering if I'll make it...
To the next PAYDAY.

Not a quite a haiku, but here I go.....

The coffers are full, but they still cry wolf

They say the "big bad" is coming and you will sacrifice

They say suffer the children for a little while longer

As they toss us scraps from their banquet table

Our master stares out from the castle made of sand

And turns a blind eye to the plight of his workers

And drinks his ale so he can look his kids in the eyes

Truly this is our winter of discontent

As they try to turn us against one another

Brother against brother

We will not go quietly into the night

We will not vanish without a fight

In the end, it’s not about cost neutral

It’s about dignity and respect.

Here I sit all broken hearted
Running a ship thats already departed
I look at the west with a look of distain
As my poor airline seems to have a stain

As Parker sits on top of the heap
We all look as though we could use some sleep
Dare not to compare what travels we do
As nothing has changed, not even you

Fear not the makers of trust
The poor employees will bear the crust
Of BAD Management, BAD Management I say
Nothing will break me, not even today...

Just my opinion...
