Do you understand what per capita menas? It measn the over all numbers are irrealvant because you are basing the numbers on equals in other words 1 out of every 100,000 do "x" or 2 accidents per every 200,000 miles driven. The size of Norway or the size of the US does not matter.

We have already dealt with the Nazi stuff before. The comparison is typically used when all other rational discussion and comparisons have been exhausted. The user typically has virtually no understanding of what it was like to live under Nazi rule. Their comparison shows the bankruptcy of their argument as well as their lack of understanding of history.

No, I think you need to realize what a president can and can not do.

Just because Clinton did this or that doesn't mean Obama can or can't.

Why couldn't the president cut an EO on an overridden bill?

You still have'nt answered why if the executive order is so powerfull why does'nt every president just do whatever the hell he wants? Maybe it has something to do with Congress intervening with an eo or the Supreme Court declaring it unconsitutional. Which has happened. Or the next president making an executive order from the previous adminstration null and void. Like what Obama did with Executive Order 13233.

Then there's the money aspect. Say the President signs an EO banning the ownership of assualt weapons in the USA. That would take a considerable amount of manpower and funds to accomplish. Who appropriates money, congress.
