How about this get rid of everyone. Is there anyone in Crystal City that can justify not taking a large cash payout to stay for a few months and then leave with cash in pocket. Nope, I can't think of anyone. At least the management at HP wants to run an airline, unlike the morons that have trying to run US with no direction what so ever in the past 15 years. The HP management team is young and wants to run a airline, at least I feel like there is some direction in this whole mess. God's speed Doug Parker.

Well perhaps with the sihft in corprate culture we will see people who are talented and educated take a leadership role with America West. Though the years I have seen plenty of people always being saved from the ax because of who they knew; even if their job was eliminated. It will be a delight to see those that always thought they would be saved sent down the river with the rest of the management team, this includes middle management as well.

why not throw the entire us mgmt on a plane with no first class seats, no inflight serivces or anything? also they'd have to leavce their wallets and paychecks with all employees even furloughed ones!!!!

I agree that EVERYONE in CCY should be shown the door as far down as Regional Directors. None of these Clowns has a clue how to run an Airline. Their ONLY specialty is cutting wages and jobs to save themselves. The Regional Directors are worthless, as their primary job fuction has been to visit the closing and Outsourced Stations to express their true sympathy.
