Executives

At the top of the list to go has to be Crellin and Glass. If either of them are retained it's curtains for any type of labor/management healing.

It's time for each and every one on this
forum to form a prayer chain, and pray
that Crellin and Glass are not retained by
AWA Holdings. If they are, you can be
almost certain the merger will fail.

These two in particular are the absolute
worst VP's in the history of US, and
they should be banned from ever
working for another airline.

No, they should go work for some of the competition. Why should we be the only ones to have been blessed(just kidding) with their expertice. They had the knack of making a silk purse into a sows ear.Al Hemingway can go peddle his Business Select service Grayhound.

Why not send them to SWA----thats who they helped made great ---unit coordinators etc etc chuck em all out the door to SWA.

Lets hope that most of the managers from us airways take a hike. This is the only company I know that will pay someone 60k+ a year and hand them the title of manager or analyst without at least an associates degree...

Personally I think anyone in AAA management should be let go right now. But I would be interested in hearing from anyone that believes there is someone that could be salvaged.

WTF does a college degree have to do with qualifications? By your standard Bill Gates and Steve Jobs wouldn't be able to supervise the ramp in PHL! Get real!

David Siegel has MULTIPLE Degres from places like Harvard and can't manage to keep the rat turds and roaches out of their warehouses.

Bill Gates is an exceptions, at us air its the rule.

Peter Principle
n.

The theory that employees within an organization will advance to their highest level of competence and then be promoted to and remain at a level at which they are incompetent.
@ US is also alot of who you know and who you blow...

If Crellin & Glass are allowed to stay, this thing is over....

If you are talking about USA, then Rob Fuhr, Ernie Pickel, Cindi Simone, Wendy S. should be retained with retention as they have real value to this operation. They work their tail off and don't get the recognition they deserve or the compensation.
These folks wear a few hats at one time.

Rob Fuhr is the best of Managment we have, in fact, anywhere I've ever been or seen. He is CEO material. And if he left, Crew Sched. would fall completely apart and we would be at a stand still and go right over the cliff.

This co. has never given him the title, compensation, respect and value he so richly dserves. This guy (28 year Director) is in c/s and was once head of all of inflight. He has been in all our negotiations, every single session for 3 years, while our VP sat on the sidelines.

There are only a select few that deserve retention, very few. Bruce Ahsby is another and has plenty of talent and value here.

Well that's it in my managment book.

Well somone just kick me til I'm black and blue already... I forgot one more person in senior ranks that deserves some of that recognition...(per OA... 😛 )

Jerry Glass is THE best there is around when it comes to labor Relations. Folks should write books about his ingeniusnesss and talents (which are many). Heck, someone should gvie him a bonus in the billions and he would have my vote for CEO of AWA. In fact, He should be Pesident of the United States of America. In addition, Head of the United Nations, and should receive the Nobel Peace Prize this year. God, someone should make him POPE Jerry!

He's the Wizard in Oz land.

I remain yours truly,

PITbull, Rob Fuhr is a good guy. I heard Jerry is a real neat guy. Too bad he gets such a bad rap. (ITNTLMAO)

Isn't WOLF still on our Board of Directors?

Any chance he will take one of the 3 or 4 other seats that the current US Airways will have on the board of the new company? I just have a feeling that we haven't seen the last of him yet...What about Dave Siegel resigning from Gate Gourmet to
work with Doug at the new US?

If so, then....  😛h34r:

What about Schear? (sp?) He was brought on board with great fanfare and relegated to a back seat. He would be great for operations would he not?

C'mon guys, I know PITbull better than my Harley, and there is no way she has any respect for anyone in managment than Rob Fuhr...end of story.

She is either trying to appease Jerry or something, because he must have gotten his feelings hurt big time..

He hates that she doesn't give him the respect that HE thinks he so richly desrves

He probably made some kind of deal with her to say those things. Saving face huh, Jerry... You're not going to AWA, ha, ha, ha , ha,. I hear the f/as don't want Jerry back.

I'm assuming that Pitbull is giving Jerry a backhanded compliment. After all, of all the senior executives at CCy, who has most likely achieved more than was expected of him when he was hired? It's hard to find anyone else that fits that bill.....

I'm definitely not saying that we employees have to like what he's done, or even admire him for doing it, but deliver for the company he did.

Jim
