FAA Hotline

Another talk with a super senior flight attendant reveals that she was upset that a number of things were wrong with the plane and in the book it was written as fixed.

After closer examination, there were 21 things in the book written as "fixed" which was not.

 get what you paid for!

Yeah, you get intransigent flight attendants.

no you got UNQUALIFIED SCABS who pencil whip the logbook just to get the broken junker plane out of the gate for an on time depature. That is why NWA should be grounded they are an unsafe airline theyve been like that since mgmt FAILED to get AMFA a nice contract

Well, in this case it would seem like we got nothing for what we paid for.

Finman:

You're a numbers guy; I'm suprised this doesn't piss you off to no end. I mean, if someone came to your house to fix the sink, and "signed it off," wouldn't you expect it to operate properly (and yes, I know you're a carpenter and all...nevertheless...)?

The other irony is that this crappy service doesn' t come cheap. The FBO in my city charges along the lines of $75 just to show up. Any work or signing off of MEL's is extra on top of that.

Never mind him, it's all for the glory of the Red Tail. LOL. I'll bet he would die happy if a tail ended up on his roof.

According to her, it was at various stations. So how much money did the company lose on that? Or rather, how much did the contractors make? How long is this going to go on where we don't have control over issues like this? We're going to start to look like the Military soon!

I even encoutered some of these sinks written as "fixed" but not fixed. Doesn't take much to call maintenance control and ask them if you should tape it up with those "Two inch tapes".

I had fun at one place where I got MEL'd by some guy but that is a long story..... 🙄
