Farewell, Red Tail

the NWA board is now deactivate as is the airline. SOOO Long NWA The only hope I have is that DL would do paint job of the retro planes of NW, WA, PA, and any other airline I missed. I only flew NWA once as a kid, and my mom had a wonderfiul experience on NWA from AMS to DTW to PHL back in 2002

I worked with some great people at NW..I had a lot of great memories..But unfortuately the bad has overtaken the good in my case.. With all due respect to Kev I wish I had worked with him and wish him the best under the new regime. But for me I still have a bitter taste in my mouth and am glad to see the red tail go....

Couldn't agree more Kev. I fly Delta all the time now as a "retiree" and still see signs of the red tail. I was on a flight the other day and bumped into a captain who had his nwa Years of Service Pins on his lapel. "Nice pins" I told him as he looked at mine and said "hmm nice pins yourself".

Good, bad, disastrous; I think I've seen it all while at the mighty Red Tail.

I can't think of a better carrier to have "grown up" at, and I wouldn't trade the ride for anything.
