That's rather easy, no where in Mien Kampf is Wilson mentioned as a idol of Adolf Hitler. There are no quotes from Joseph Goebbels crediting Woodrow Wilon for his propoganda campaign. Maybe you should stop taking your histroy lessons from Glen Beck and read a history book instead.

Never said there was...you took it and ran with it.

However, Little Adolph did like his propaganda.....

From the Holocaust Museum:

"Propaganda tries to force a doctrine on the whole people... Propaganda works on the general public from the standpoint of an idea and makes them ripe for the victory of this idea." Adolf Hitler wrote these words in his book Mein Kampf (1926), in which he first advocated the use of propaganda to spread the ideals of National Socialism -- among them racism, antisemitism, and anti-Bolshevism.
Following the Nazi seizure of power in 1933, Hitler established a Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda headed by Joseph Goebbels. The Ministry's aim was to ensure that the Nazi message was successfully communicated through art, music, theater, films, books, radio, educational materials, and the press.

Great interview on the Fareed Zakaria GPS show yesterday with General Martin Dempsey on Syria and Iran:

Fareed Zakaria: When you observe Iranian behavior, does it strike you as highly irrational? Does it strike you as sort of unpredictable? Or do they seem to follow their national interests in a fairly calculating way?
Martin Dempsey: That is a great question. I'll tell you that I've been confronting that question since I came into Central Command in 2008. And we are of the opinion that the Iranian regime is a rational actor. And it's for that reason, I think, that we think the current path we're on is the most prudent path at this point.

Quite interesting. I found this and it points out the perils of government intervention into private enterprise.

So you’re a sick senior citizen and the government says there is no nursing home available for you, what do you do?

Our plan gives anyone 65 years or older a gun and 4 bullets. You are allowed to shoot four Congressmen.

Of course, this means you will be sent to prison where you will get three meals and a roof over your head, central heating, air conditioning and all the health care you need!

Need new teeth? No problem. Need glasses? That’s great. Need a new hip, knees, kidney, lungs or heart? They’re all covered.

And, as an added bonus, your kids can come and visit you as often as they do now.

And who will be paying for all of this? It’s the same government that just told you that you they cannot afford for you to go into a home.

Plus, because you are a prisoner, you don’t have to pay any income taxes anymore.

Is this a great country or what?

If Iran is a rational actor they have a funny way of showing it. True, a lot rhetoric coming from Tehran is to keep the die hards fired up. They are paying a price for it though. More than one Irainan nuclear scientist has paid the price. If they are behind those killings you really can't blame the Israeli's. Those of the Jewish faith probably take seriously threats againt their existance.

All the tough talk might backfire on the homefront as well. Cracks are starting to appear amongst some of thenelites in Iranian society.

Newt was looking rough this morning on FNS. Chris Wallace took him to task on his pandering promise to the uneducated that believe he can actually deliver $2.50 gallon gas if he is elected.

"The ability of the U.S. to hugely expand production such that it would impact the price of oil any time soon is practically nil," Bledsoe says. "It's such a big market that even if we could develop more domestic production and add a few million barrels to global production it would have little effect except on the margins."

]Bush Says Drill, Drill, Drill — and Oil Drops $9!
By Larry Kudlow
July 15, 2008 1:06 P.M.

In a dramatic move yesterday President Bush removed the executive-branch moratorium on offshore drilling. Today, at a news conference, Bush repeated his new position, and slammed the Democratic Congress for not removing the congressional moratorium on the Outer Continental Shelf and elsewhere. Crude-oil futures for August delivery plunged $9.26, or 6.3 percent, almost immediately as Bush was speaking, bringing the barrel price down to $136.

Now isn’t this interesting?

Democrats keep saying that it will take 10 years or longer to produce oil from the offshore areas. And they say that oil prices won’t decline for at least that long. And they, along with Obama and McCain, bash so-called oil speculators. And today we had a real-world example as to why they are wrong. All of them. Reid, Pelosi, Obama, McCain — all of them.[/quote]
