Frommer's names US LGA terminal in 10 worst

I'm giving the US Airways Terminal the worst-terminal award here because at least the central terminal has an atrium and the Delta terminal just got some new food options. The US Airways terminal is dull and sad.


The article, with some justification, blasts LGA in general for its overcrowding and lack of rail links but singles out the US terminal. Other than its severely overpriced food and drink options I can think of worse ones.

Mickey D's prices weren't too bad the last time I was through there 18 months or so ago. Are they still there?

I guess the food options are rather limited. Particularly on the Shuttle side. Other than that, I always thought it was the best terminal at LGA

Yes you can still get a big mac!

I was in the terminal a few weeks ago, my flight from CLT arrived and departed from the shuttle gates.

One choice to eat and no restrooms in the pier.

Main part of the terminal is nice, but the shuttle gates suck.

There are restrooms as you exit the concourse toward the escalator. Instead of getting on the escalator, turn left down a short hallway - the restrooms are there.

Correct there are restrooms there and their is a Cebo express and mini dunkin donuts but mgmt has done nothing to keep the place up for our best customers. Most of the work stations have broken chairs and broken plugs. It's an embarrassment.

Funny you ask. Last time I was in LGA it was closed by the health department. At least that is what the sign said. I'm sure all is well now though! 😱
