Glad to hear more airlines adding route, flights, and cities. SWA just added in 2 rounds 22 flights, routes and cities and now Frontier is adding 19. Getting ready for a come back...

In the article, it states that ONT/LAS is new and no other carrier flies the route. WN used to fly 10 flights a day in each direction. They are down to 3 and in the spring it shows 2 flights per day.

Long time ago, I was at an ONT departure gate and 2 bewildered women were staring at the departure board. They asked how long the flight was to ONT from LAS and I told 45 minutes. They looked at each other and wondered how that could be. Turned out they were Canadian, never heard of Southwest and thought it was a nonstop to Canada. I had to explain that it was a suburb of LA. Everyone got a good laugh
