I think MEM won Sunday. DTW - CUN, diverted to MEM. Mtx delay out of DTW (5 hrs), then diverted to MEM, and lots more time there. You heard anything on it?

I don;t know if it made the papers or not, but here you go (this must have been quite a trip. ):

First they assigned A/C 3229 in error (1:21 IRM), so they had to backturn 3239, which then promptly sh*t the bed with a #1 engine bleed issue 🙂58 MOM), while all this was going on, the F/A's went illegal, so they had to re-crew it 🙂40 CSI).

Then it returned to the gate in DTW for another 4:30 for the bleed valve and (now) "yaw damper MEL and DDG comply and FLT REC Prob." (NOTE: the quoted text is from WorldFlight).

They left DTW at 1655 lcl (sched. dept is 1024lcl), and then diverted to MEM with more flight recorder issues, switched to A/C 3212, and finally arrived in CUN at 2203 lcl, 9:51 late.

Kind of like a box of chocolates. You don't know what you are gonna get next.

Let's see. How about DTW again. The fine craftmanship I have witnessed the last time I was there is making me think.
