You are correct but WN doesn't operate 737-800's. They operate 737-700's which have the same number of seats as the 737-300's - 137. They do have some 737-500's which have fewer seats, but that is the only exception.

There are some problems with that Tad. It is very deceptive and deceptive pricing is illegal.

They are simply applying the discount from the full fare at varying degree's based on supply and demand. During spring break it is not necessary to fully discount the fares because of higher demand. Even Mom & Pop stores have sales during slow periods to enhance revenues. it would be suicide to offer a straight line of discounts in every market starting with the least expensive fares to the highest fare.

Thanks for the correction - I somehow thought they had -800's. But now looking over their recent 10-K, I see their fleet is far more streamlined in the 737 family than I had thought.
