I think it is bizarre that they obsess over crap that has no affect on their life.  Gays have been getting married in a few countries around the world for a while now and the earth still turns.  Gays have been getting married in a few states here and the earth still turns.  None of the marriages have had any affect on my life and I defy anyone to produce a shred of evidence that it has had an affect (positive or negative) on theirs.

VA just had their ban overturned by the appeals court, the NC case is tied to that, so the judge in the NC case will now rule to overturn the ban in NC.

You cant tell someone you cant fall in love or be with someone because of their religion, that is ### backwards thinking.
 
NC has several lawsuits pending in court on striking down the ban, they are waiting the Court of Appeals ruling on the strike down of the VA law, and then NC judge will follow that ruling.
 
And NC isnt backwards nor does the people promote bigotry, and you fill find bigots and backwards thinking people in every state, since you reside in MA and FL those states have at least one.

 
So when will NC get with the program?

North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper says he will stop defending the state’s ban on state on same-sex marriage. He made the announcement Monday after a 3-judge panel for the 4th circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Virginia’s ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional.
 
“We know our law almost certainly will be overturned as well. Simply put, it’s time to stop making arguments we will lose and instead move forward knowing that the ultimate resolution will likely come from the United States Supreme Court,” Cooper said in conference call with reporters.
