Wrong again Snowflake.

She was always Christian, she claimed this was all done before she was "saved".

You make this way to easy, you should be happy, you should be able to get married, why dont you see if you she will give you and your boyfriend a license.

Bottom line she is an adulterer, she committed sin, no exceptions.

Keep that in mind. She converted to Christianity about four years ago.

Strange how there are hundreds of clerks scattered across the entire state, yet this one woman has to be singled out and forced to conform to liberal orthodoxy.

Q: Why cant this gay couple just ask for another clerk?

A: Because is has nothing to do with them wanting to get married. They are forcing this one woman to comply or else.

Read the facts.

She is refusing to issue any marriage licenses to any couple, same or opposite sex.

She was elected to the job, one of her duties is to issue licenses per the law.

She isn't above the law, COTUS and SCOTUS. We are a secular nation, not based on religious law.

And like the Cake baker's the "tolerant" left will not tolerate one person who does not fall in line with liberal group think.

Conform or suffer the consequences.

Sad times indeed....

Because one of them lives, works, and pays taxes (her salary), in that county and has for 16 years. How would like it if they chose to not repair the road to your house because of your gay status?

After she was jailed, hundreds of people outside the courthouse started chanting and screaming, "Love won! Love won!"

So......, the the concept of love "winning" is really about dissenters being put in prison.

Glad we clarified that.

They cannot ask for another clerk because she is the clerk of her county and she did not allow any of the other clerks to issue licences.

A county clerk such as herself cannot pick and choose what laws they wish to abide by.

Yes, she must comply with the laws that her job entails. Her job entails issuing licences to all qualified couples that apply. She does not get to pick and choose.

How many people may disobey the law before it is too many? Is this standard out lined somewhere? Does this standard apply to all laws or just certain ones?

Your choice of words is funny. You claim she is a "dissenter". Can we call all people who willingly and knowingly break the law dissenters?

Are there certain laws one can dissent against and other not? I assume violent crimes cannot be dissented against. When I speed can I claim "dissent status" to the cop and get off?
