Hard to say since for the past 200+ years we have only had one option - white Christian male. Obama os the first president in US history who does not fit that description. If there are 100 reasons not to like Obama. His race would be reason number 150 out of 100.

For me if Hillary Clinton or Al Sharpton all of the sudden had an epiphany and decided that Ron Paul's views and theories were correct I'd vote for either one.

Kansas City, MO) In early March, just a few days after Trayvon Martin was shot, there was another potential hate crime that has received very little attention from the media.

It was a young 13 year old boy set on fire by two 16 year old teenagers in Kansas City, Missouri. The victim attends Kansas City's East High School and believes the perpetrators do too.

According to KMBC, the boy's mother said:

"They rushed him on the porch as he tried to get the door open ... (One of them) poured the gasoline, then flicked the Bic, and said, 'This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve, white boy'."

According to WIBW, the cops are still trying to find who did this as of March 27.

Even if they had? They are looking for someone to arrest. It is not as if they had the person(s) and then let them go. I believe I posted somewhere around here how many homicides there are each year. It is not as if this was/is the only racially motivated crime that in the country. In KC the cops are doing their job unless you know other wise. In FL they know exactly who killed Martin. The law is letting him get away with it (at least till now). Sharpton and Jackson are trying to find a place in history. To use them as a standard is like using the airline industry as an example of deregulation. Who would be foolish enough to do that?

NBC Fires Producer of Misleading Zimmerman Tape

NBC News has fired a producer who was involved in the production of a misleading segment about the Trayvon Martin case in Florida.

The person was fired on Thursday, according to two people with direct knowledge of the disciplinary action who declined to be identified discussing internal company matters. They also declined to name the fired producer. A spokeswoman for NBC News declined to comment.

The action came in the wake of an internal investigation by NBC News into the production of the segment, which strung together audio clips in such a way that made George Zimmerman’s shooting of Mr. Martin sound racially motivated. Ever since the Feb. 26 shooting, there has been a continuing debate about whether race was a factor in the incident.

Starting to look like the rush to judgement of the Progressive Media is turning into the rush to cover ones ass.

There are always going to be people who do not understand the issues. There will always be pundits, news organizations and politicians who will take advantage of the ignorance. Are they your bell weather? The issue with Zimnmerman was and still is the fact that he killed a man that he was pursuing and the law in FL was written in such a way that he has been walking free for over a months now. He has not even seen the inside of a court holding cell or court room to post bail till the issue is resolved.

Just because race may not have been involved in this case does not man that race is not an issue in this country. It may not be as big an issue as some make it out but it is certainly far more an issue than you and a few others here would like to believe it is. I took an informal poll at work from all my friends who have a complexion other than white. They have all said that they have been stopped or harassed for being black/Mexican or other in the wrong place at the wrong time. Just because we have a president who looks a little different from the other 40+ we have had does not mean the fight is over.

That may be YOUR issue. My issue is allowing those Race baiting pricks to get away unchallenged. The editor being fired is typical. Make the little guy fall on his sword to protect the Management who in my mind orchestrated this for political purposes. I do know that their ratings are higher then CNN, MSNBC, CNBC & HNL COMBINED at any point of the day so they clearly have established more credibility then the others.

Thanks to Sharpton, Jackson & all of the other race baiters trying to make political hay at Zimmerman's expense there will be no justice no matter the legal outcome. The only positive I can see is that it appears that much of the public has caught on to the race baiting and is having none of it. Can't help but notice how Obama went back in the woodwork in a NY minute. Guess the polls told him to drop this like a hot potato. I still want to know this. What JOB does Jesse Jackson have as he has had no visible means of support that I can see from the late 1980's?

High Profile Case like this? Somebody knew. We never will, but somebody gave the go ahead.

I have worked for some of the largest companies in the World and I can not imagine scenario where this Editor acted alone. Comcast/NBC is a very rigid company at least on the cable side. Solo Actor?? Not buying it.

Still no answer to my question and I've asked it several times. "What exactly does Jesse Jackson do to earn a living?"
