We've been suffering Major league, up here with that G D Humidity for damm near a month now.
I'd rather shovel off all the snow on a Mountain, than breath that sick unhealthy air. Sure, its summer, and Heat and SOME humidity is a reality, but I'd rather have to get warm..ANYDAY, than have to get Cool. Give me a 4X4 (with chains if necessary) and a Fire in the fireplace/woodstove, and a big Black 'LAB' beside me on the couch, and I'm in utopia !

It's not that bad in the desert, until it reaches 119 degrees like it did recently. A dry heat is overrated above 110. Mountains are less than a 2-hour drive and 75 degree temps. Winter comes, go for a morning swim in the pool and then head for the slopes in Flagstaff.

Agreed.
Dry vs Humid, it's like apples and oranges. I had a 2 month taste of dry heat in jun/jul of 09' in sacramento calif. As you know well, though it was HOT, it was a hella' lot more bearable.
Sitting on a lifetime (almost Free) pass to travel the world at a moments notice....HAS made me take New places(say like Az.) for granted. Got to see Kenny Rogers in Scottsdale many moons ago. Truth be told,.......I liked it.
