Hmm, wrong Eric to be looking at for cover ups... Why did someone have to do an end-run to Cantor in the first place?
If this was indeed brewing all summer, given the level of who was being investigated, Eric Holder probably knew about it, and will feign ignorance like he did on Fast & Furious... and if Holder knew, then Pharaoh knew.
Time to whip out the Executive Privilege pad again...
What's ironic in all this is that pundits on MSDNC were crowing loud and hard about how scandal-free Obama's first term was.
Furious, Betrayus, and Benghazi... Sounds more like one of those law firms that advertises on the channels carrying Jerry Springer Show reruns, but may wind up together being more of a scandal than Watergate was.

Not sure how it was an end run. Cantor was told by someone in the FBI and Cantor sat on it for 2 months.
Not sure how Bengahzi is a scandal. Most of the FOX story line has been dis-proven. Evey admin has screw up. They all try to hide them. You act like this is some sort of revelation.

At some point during the summer, the Tampa FBI agent whom Kelley had first approached for help was taken off the investigation. Frustrated and concerned that an inquiry into what he thought may be a possible national security breach had not progressed, he got in touch with the office of Rep. Dave Reichert (R-Wash.). Reichert passed the information on to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.).
“I was contacted by an F.B.I. employee concerned that sensitive, classified information may have been compromised and made certain Director Mueller was aware of these serious allegations and the potential risk to our national security,” Cantor said in a statement.
Cantor contacted FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III on Oct. 31, and a week later Clapper told Petraeus he needed to resign.
“I don’t know if it would have taken this course without Cantor,” a person close to the inquiry said.

So the morning news is reporting that patraeus' paramour said during a talk at Denver Univ a month ago that " the CIA was secretly holding detainees against Obama's order not to in 2009 which was a repeal of Bushs order that allowed the practice and that the attack was an attempt to free the detainees".

Can you be a little more specific as to which Fox story time line has been disproven? And, if possible, who disproved it.

Oct. 31: After conferring with advisers, Cantor alerts the office of the FBI director.
Nov. 1: The FBI reportedly tells a Cantor aide that it can’t “confirm or deny an investigation, but that it was acting to protect national security.”

Maybe that's how it was translated on the Al Jazeera version of the news you read, but Cantor found out on the Saturday before Sandy hit, and contacted someone when the government offices re-opened. How is that two months?...
Holder sat on it for two months, again getting the two Eric's confused...
The fact is that we had the FBI reading the emails of the head of the CIA. Anyone who believes that Holder wasn't told, and that Holder didn't notify Obama about that in the months prior to the election is an idiot.
