I'm not speculating. Just wonder why Grand Rapids not considered by LUV (or other discount carrier). It's a lot larger market than most people realize. People don't realize that the metro area population (1.1 million) exceeds that of Louisville, Albany, Tulsa, and Albuquerque, and is almost as large as Buffalo and Hartford. I bet a lot of airline travelers drive to Detroit or Chicago for long-haul flights. I DID read on the Northwest board that NWA is beginning NS flights to Florida.
