ground school question for f/a's

I have a friend who is interviewing with one of the express carriers next week. She was in an accident last night and broke her nose and possibly several bones in her face. Will they accept her to ground school as a f/a or should she wait?

I would suggest she contact the company and make them aware of what happened. They would likely find out at the interview anyway. She can ask them if they think it more prudent to wait or proceed with the interview.

One other thing is pain medication. If she needs pain meds right now that would likely cause problems with the mandatory drug test any new FA would need to take. So, I think she should contact the company and make them aware of what has happened, her prognosis and what her doctors have told her of her recuperation.

It's not germane to the topic per se, but tell your friend I hope she feels better. I'm sure it must be frustrating to have that happen to you right before you start class. Good luck to her, and I hope she's going to be all right.
