Possible end around on IAM?
Could be another court challenge by IAM.If they did I believe the contract still makes it all IAM work.

Well least 92 mainline look alike a/c can be operated by express. And the word is ALPA is going to relax the scope on more express flying

I wish...I could get furlough pay and then 9 months of un-employment. Kill this pig and get it over with!

That would be real intelligent, as reliable as Republic is...

Then they can try to funnel even more traffic to the already bursting at the seams PHL airport...

This is Andrea Rader from corp comm (filling in for Morgan, who's on assignment). no truth to this rumor. 😀

Do we mean operated as in flown, or ground handled?

And how on earth could scope for express carriers be relaxed more? Allowing them to fly 757s?

Allow express to fly 70+seats turbo’s mainline scope is now set at 50 seats
The agent’s scope was change to allow up to two mainline jets a day in a station to be outsourced and the company may outsource seasonal mainline flying unlimited not to exceed 4-month period

Piedmont should be allowed to fly Q400s or ATRs, they are not really a threat to mainline, and they are financially and operationally better than RJs. Anything bigger than 50 seats jet-wise should be at the original airline.
