No Tech, I've observed that patronizing liberal/progressive racism since high school and it nauseates me. Classic example for me was in HS. Lived in this pretty affluent School District, lot's of good little Democrats all running around pretending to be so hip and progressive. We had four black kids out of 1,100 students. I was what I'd call a Conservative heading towards Libertarian at a fast pace.

So one day in Civics class we're having a pretty good debate and this white kid stands up and yells, "You're A Racist" as me over a point of view. The 2 black kids in class look at me with that "Are you Gonna Take that Crap From Him Look". see here's where it get mildly amusing. The kid who did the name calling NEVER spoke to Greg or Linda or the other two black kids, I OTOH hung out with both regularly as well as the other two. Turned out his older sister was dating a black guy and Mr Liberal Democrat Daddy threw her out of the house. Now sonny boy was having a hard time with his liberal masked KKK hood wearing Daddy so I guess I caught the fire. Poor Teacher I felt so sorry for, she was soooo upset, First thing she says in "BOB, DON'T HIT HIM", I replied, "If I was going to hit him he'd be on the ground already, please allow me to respond" She said yes and man oh man you think the Tree got it bad here? I think the kid left class wishing I would have beat him up.

The point to that little episode is I learned that no one has cornered the market on bigotry. Liberals like to pontificate as to how they are pure as the driven snow on these issues and they as bad and and I'd argue worse then most conservatives when it comes to putting their words into actions.

To me when you create programs for what I call "Preferred Minorities" what the condescending Liberal is really saying.ing is, "You poor stupid inferior (Insert Protected Group Here) person as your master and keeper we know you couldn't possibly get by without us so here is a program just for you." That's what Affirmative Action and all of the other so called help provided. It's blatant racism pure and simple.

I honestly don't care at all about 20 year old allegations.

What concerns me is that Mr. Cain was made aware more than ten days ago that Politico was running the story. He had TEN DAYS to craft a polished, presidential-sounding message. Apparently, the debacle of the past two days is the best Mr. Cain and his advisors could up with. Indeed, it would appear that whatever statement his campaign crafted, the candidate himself cannot stay on message. If no statement was crafted and Cain is winging it, he's not very good at it.

It is painfully clear that Mr. Cain is not presidential material. He is, as I've stated previously, the "pretend Republican candidate" running to increase his media exposure to sell books and boost his speaking fees.

Mr. Cain is a Tea Party joke. And not a very funny one.

I love the way conservatives are trying to play the race card.

The source for this story clearly wasn't the Democrats. Running against such a weak candidate would be wonderful for Obama. And the Republicans couldn't even whine about racism being a factor when Cain was defeated.

Karl Rove or some other backer of GOP establishment candidate Romney had much stronger motives to do Cain in.

It does not matter whether Obama is running against a 'weak' candidate per MSM and NYT blogs...

Obama is in trouble and he knows it.

What matters most is how the American public votes against the present fools running the country into the ground and whether they see this as a continuation of the same kind of election year drivel that so many have had enough of.

Many on both sides are going to be in for another shock in 2012.

How well planned.

Only a strong rising candidate and a Black one to boot threatening Obama needs to be eliminated.

I agree it is well orchestrated but I dont see any indication That it came from the left. Obama has nothing to loose regards to Cain. I dont think Cain is honestly running for office. Seems like he is just looking to get his name out there and make a few bucks like Palin and Bachmann are doing.

I think the story came from Perry or Romney to take the light off them for a bit.

So we're back to why Herman's in it to begin with.

Until the fiold narrows down no one is a threat. The 999 BS will screw long before Obama has to do anything.
