IORFA,
From the little I do know, it seems there is a different contract for each FN base.
While I was still an agent in MIA, BOG was in negotiations.
Whenever we had a problem with a FN crew, we dealt with the LAM (Latin American) coordinator, never flight service.
My guess is that the LAM coordinators served as the FN's FSMs in MIA. It was a big deal if they were called to the gate.
We have 2 former SCL FNs in STL, I'll ask about the SCL contract and FN RSV next time I see one of them.
There were a few FN with dual-citizenship who crossed over to AA during the last hiring round. They had their own training class due to their training requirements. They did have to get new employee numbers but I'm not sure if they carried over SK/VC accrual.
One of the former FN in STL told me she regretted coming over to our side because of quality of life differences. We make more money (at 4 years, I made more than a 12 year LIM purser) but as a FN, she had a huge apartment in SCL with a maid, was flying better international trips, and AA took care of her dry-cleaning and transportation to and from SCL.
