USAPA supporters like to claim that the Nicolau decision is not the reason they are trying to challenge ALPA for control of the pilot's dues money. If that were true, wouldn't there have been substantial support for AWAPA in the days following the pension givebacks, etc?

Suppose Nicolau had agreed completely with AAAMEC and stapled the AWA pilots to the bottom and eliminated the no-bump-and-flush. Would USAPA have any supporters, or are they really all about vengeance on their fellow pilots?

All "vengence" has an adequate cause. What cause do you cite for this alleged so-called "vengence"? If there is no adequate cause then your label is a paper tigger.

P.S. No doubt Prater considers everyone a "fellow pilot."

Luvn is discussing what has been discussed before, the observation that despite many folks saying they had significant problems with ALPA prior to Nicolau, no significant action had been undertaken to resolve any percieved problem with ALPA representation until after Nicolau. That observation then further causes some people to think that absent Nicolau this USAPA issue would not have the traction that it has now.
