What do you mean?

The Holiday Rewards program gave free space positive tickets to those employees who have perfect attendance though the hoildays. Some people got 4 round trip space positive tickets last year.

I doubt there will be any rewards program with Dougie.

He is not a big advocate of giving any employees (accept senior managment and their familes) space positive travel. He wrote in an email that we on the AFA East side will find that he will not be as generous with space positive travel even for union reps for co. business.

He said that it has the potential to hurt revenue....

When asked about senior mangament and their perks for first class for them and their families space postive for NON business, he was silent.

Dougie and the boys are guided by the BOD, and the name of the game is maximizing shareholder value (which no labor group is a part of except ALPA). The investors don't give a damn about labor or the value in customer service. Their only interest is their gain in stock value.

You're on your own. And the first sign of profits, demand raises, even informational picketing to obtain what is necessary for the employees to survive.

Hell, we lose our retirment security, an the BOD approves salary and bonus increases for the execs.

4 Execs just got raises that was made public. There are many more who did as well but don't fall under SEC guidlines to reveal publically.

When Doug Parker still needs the services of the likes of Jerry Glass, there is no justice or peace for the employes, and U-West hasn't had the pleasure since 1999 when they drove him off the property.

Dougie needs the "faith" of the wall street analysts to keep driving the stock upward. So, he doesn't want or need any Labor unrest...

As it should be, everyone doing what is in there own best interest is what made America Great. When one adds socialistic "we should all get the same pay" even though we obviously don't all do the same quality of work crap and the whole entitlement mentality that permiates America today we are far less productive. It actually hurts the people at the bottom the worst, it becomes their crutch. If everyone today was taught independence and personal responsability and that what ever happened in their life was a direct result of all the choices they made and that it wasn't someone elses fault and that "your on your own" as you put it this would be such a better, more educated and wealthy country than we are.

You really by into the US vs Them and Evil Company's stuff that unions and socialist promote? We should all strive to be evil annd rich! And guess what every decision you make along that way benifits lost of "little" people. Creating wealth should be this copuntry's job # 1.
It isn't ideology it is ECON 101, which unfortunatly at least 80% of us are ignorant of. You probably will support anti "price gouging laws" and think oil companys make to much money too?
