Yes you could. The treatment of the Indians in this country far surpasses the horror of the Holocaust 10 times over. Problem it was the US committing the atrocities AND it was way way out of the view of the news gatherings apparatus of the day. As much as you may have researched, what is more frightening is what you did't find out. The fact is that america wiped out so many tribes of Natives that it is simply impossible to know just how bad the extent of that damage really is.

I honestly cannot venture to guess which event would have been worse to endure (vs the Holocaust I mean), because the fact is that they were different in a lot of ways. But what is indisputable is that both events are so distorted now that we are in real danger of seeing something like this happen again.

This is why I have no real objection to Israel doing what it needs to do to defend herself. If push comes to shove, I have no doubt that america will again, as it tends to do in these situations, simply stand by and watch.
