If anything Romney was referring to venting the cabin....I don't think its that big an issue when your wife/passengers may be suffocating.

A passenger I was sitting next to told me they felt humiliated by the airline when the seltbelt extention they requested said "Faatso approved" on it. I explained that that wasn't "Fat So" approved, it was "FAA TSO" approved.
