How evolution found God

Did you read your OP?

Where are the heavens?
Read the article and my original post. No idea where heaven is. The article does not even address it. Heaven is an idea that is specific to certain religions. The article address how religion in general became part of the fabric of society.

I did and your article does not address it in any way shape or form.....it only adds supposition, much akin to religion. Prove your link to be correct on the assumption of religious doctrine that man adopted.

Our ancestors did not always have religion, yet many religious practices seem to have very ancient origins. So when did religion first evolve?

So explain this parapsychology phenomena.

You hold much weight in evolution, but if you research that mantra, you will find as many loose ends as in the God debate.

Maybe you could check some biblical accounts of heavenly encounters of the third kind. They don't stop at the Bible either.....source other religions for clarity.

But you never saw a UFO, I never saw God......disprove either.

Might help if you tilt your head back and look up the next time you are looking at the heavens, err stars.....

Your article also states there was no religion at one time....how was man motivivated then to write all these glorious accounts of angels and gods coming down and going back to the 'heavens' then?

Notice also he refers to Occupy Wall Street types in the article ?

Smoking some good hemp 'er what?

Do you read what you post or are you using the spaghetti method where you throw some stuff up against the wall and hope it sticks?

Most of your definitions involve religious ideas of what heaven is. I do not believe in an religious doctrine so I use the terms sky, space, universe galaxies ... etc.

They wrote those accounts in the same manner that Tolkien, Clarke, Rowling and others wrote their stories. Do you think fantasy is a modern invention? As you have asked of me, prove that they are real.

It always amazes me that you and Sparrow and a few others here want me to provide proof of something (as if that would actually help) when you take your religious dogma at face value and can provide absolutely no proof what so ever.

Evolution is a proven fact. There are fossil records to prove that humans as well as countless other species have evolved over time. What I believe you meant to say was that there are questions regarding what humans evolved from. If you are going to pop off about stuff, at least get your talking points correct.

Just for clarification, it is not my article. I did not write it so stop asking me to provide proof for it. I think it is an interesting article which supports ideas I have heard before and agree with.

Not believing in evolution because there are a few pieces of the puzzle missing but to believe in your religious dogma which provides absolutely no proof is ironic at best.

Evolution has more holes in it and you know it....your article even mentions it.
Where's the dna link between man and primates?
How does evolution get around the Law of Biogenisis?

Like I said previously, your article mentions at one time man had no religion .....you skirt the topic when it doesn't suit you?

Good grief Dell, you really need to read things more carefully.
Evolution does not have any holes it in. There are some questions as to what is related to what but the fact that evolution takes place is an incontrovertible fact.

What I believe you meant to say was that there are questions regarding what humans evolved from
Research is still being conducted to determine where the separation of the species took place at least that was the status the last time I read an article on it.

The origin of live has nothing to do with evolution. Evolution takes place once life has started. Just because we do not understand how life originated does not mean that we accept magic as it's origin. All it means is that there is a question that needs to be researched. Whether we ever find the answer or not is not really relevant to the question at hand. Science seeks the truth. Science proves its self correct by trying to prove it' self wrong. Science asks a question and then looks for the answer. Religion has to be accepted at face value with out question or proof. Why you seek to have science prove it's self but do not hold religion to the same standard is a bit perplexing but not surprising.

What topic did I skirt? I told you I believe the bible was created in the same manner that Rowling, Clark and the rest create stories. I believe that religion was an early form of government created by man for man. I think the article addresses this idea better than I can.

I see....much in the same way as scientists sought out and modified the truth on global warming/climate change?

You should have said Holy **** Dell or Good heavens....LOL

A hand full of scientist manipulated the data. The science still hold true. See my link in the Global warming thread.

But again, you seek proof from science but none from religion. Why is that?

But I did not. So what is your point?

Who says I seek no proof from either?

That handful who manipulated the data are the core scientists in driving the argument...not a few extremists.

Grant money driven by a political agenda...proven.

Big black eye for all scientists.

Heres your link:

Science brought us the lobotomy, how did that work out?

Frontal lobotomy??

I had a Bottleinfrontome.....

Boosheet......your link is bogus BTW......and you cite ONE person....Ok thats it I buy into now......

For someone who claims to be proficient at searching the web you really suck at it.

The scientist name is Richard Muller and he was funded in part by the Koch brothers who deny that the science is accurate. Here is another link to the article.

There are countless other scientists that believe the science is valid. I chose to post this article due to the fact that he once denied that the science was real and due to the fact that he was funded in part by the Koch brothers who deny that the science is real.

No science is possible without the law of nature, natural law and a creator. face facts, those who deny the creator end up as mass murderers 😀

Ok. And they do it all by them selves right? So all of Germany was atheist during WWII?

Like I said earlier, even if we grant your theory as true that the absences of religion being bad does not make the presence of religion good.
