SEA is contractually "guaranteed" to stay staffed, as long as the IAM CBA remains in effect.

2 Leads (used to be 3, but one recently retired, and it hasn't been backfilled yet).

10 FT'ers. Junior man has 1975 seniority.

0 PT'ers

Hey Kev,
I thought DINOSAURS were extinct!

Must be a gravy job if those positions go that high.

They still move quite a bit of freight in and out of SEA...

I'd say it's senior for the following reasons (in no particular order):

1. It's dry in the warehouse-we *are* talking about SEA after all...

2. You're not in/out of bins, driving, etc.

3. Loss of the freighter, and other activity "thinned" the crowd.

When this ABORTION comes together, and IF you Red Tails wind up Non-Union(GOD FORBID)...I hope like HEL* that Anderson Doesn't "dissolve" that Fabulous facility in ANC.

Funny you mention ANC. NWA management is think about that right now. There doesn't seem to be any money in freight today they say. Don't tell that to FedEx of DHL. NWA managment just doesn't know how to get the work and keep it.

Speaking of which, I heard NW lost or gave up the handling contract for Korean Air up there.... Anyone able to confirm this?
