All I'm saying is that there is a HUGE difference between your average native american indian from the  sioux of SD. as compared to the 'uncle TOMAHAWKS' from OK.
The cherokee were already dressing like there white captors, and speaking english and praying to jesus......back in North carolina/georgia,..........before they were invited to go on a looooooong   'strool' !

The Five Civilized Tribes were already farther advanced compared to the warring & nomadic tribes out in the plains. The fact they chose to co-exist with the Europeans was a conscious decision, not forced.

You can question it all you want, but given the relative prosperity of those tribes today compared to what you see in NM, AZ, and the Dakotas, it's pretty clear to me the tribal elders made the right decision.

Looking like liberals almost killed the bears.  First, MSM comes down with no apparent knowledge of what mother bears do best, freak the family out, get a fisheries biologist, most likely a tree hugging liberal, who casts an immediate death sentence on the entire family, without any forethought, just like  a liberal would do. Thank God public awareness saved the family, not some liberal knee jerk BS.

I've had personal friends, members of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe....in South Dakota...tell me emphatically, that the Reason that things are so bad to this day, is because the Lakota, and thier close allies the Northern Cheyenne (in Montana) have refused to  CONVERT, or sell thier HOLY LAND (the Black Hills) to Washington for the BRIBE money that DC has had on the table for quite some time.
 
I too am very aware of the 'Success  $$$$$ ' of the  'uncle TOM-AHAWK' tribes .
Lets take a more in depth look around the Dakotas and Montana Eric shall we Eric.
The ONLY tribe doing well(like the 'uncle TOM-AHAWK' tribes) in that 3 state region are the CROW nation in southeastern Montana.  Now Eric, wouldn't you find that a bit odd, I mean WHY only the Crows ???

I Forgot that the Crow were the only TRAITORS who 'chomped on Uncle Sams Banana' during the great battles with the Lakota....with thier great leaders like SITTING BULL / Crazy Horse / and Red Cloud.  The Great Blackfeet nation in northwestern Montana didn't fare well either, and as you mentioned earlier, the Navaho in NM / AZ !

Easy. While I personally admire Chief Joseph in many ways, well....we "white men" had the technology and social teamwork needed to take whatever was wanted. In the happy fantasy that your ancestors had not obviously punished their brightest young for ever daring to THINK/imagine/invent/manufacture/etc, and allowed development past the frikkin' stone age somewhere along tribal evolution within many thousands of years, well...perhaps some forceful compromise could've been reached between the cultures. Heck; Given the time your ancestors had on this continent of almost unlimited resources, entirely unmolested by any others besides your so very proud tribes of "TRUE Natives", well, had they gotten their acts together at ALL, instead of just insanely and always warring on each other...Who knows? They could have perhaps met the "primative" intruders on Plymouth Rock with even machine guns, but that wasn't the case, was it?
 
No serious offense meant to you Black Bears. We're, both of us, just creatures of our current times anyway. We sure-as-hell didn't pick the circumstances or places we we born into. Family history aside; I wasn't out there killing Comanches, and you weren't out there fighting "white men".

An honest question here; just HOW does/even CAN one explain any supposed "culture(s)" that intentionally stayed at a stone-aged level of technology for thousands of years? Was it some strange form of "spiritual enlightenment" that utterly prohibited actual THOUGHT, experimentation/discovery and exploration of any kind? Or; should we absurdly assume that no "TRUE Native" youngsters were ever actually born with curious and functional brains? Your fore"bears" had all the mineral and other resources, and even far more of all than any fellow humans in europe could ever imagine. How's a stone-age society with such gifts even sustainable over centuries?...Unless the brightest young are continually brainwashed/beaten/whatever out of ever thinking/exploring/inventing/etc? Now then; just how was that inflicted on the young by your "noble" ancestors?....Perhaps in exactly the same way they were taught the "joys" of torturing and murdering captives?

I'm honestly curious here, seriously. Being that you were born into the richest and most arguably free nation that's ever existed; just exactly WHO beat/programmed you as a child into limting yourself to just being a proud "TRUE Native" and nothing more in life? Especially with the "Affirmative Action" BS; you could've pretty much done anything you wanted to and had the personal drive and brains for....Doctor Black Bears/Commisoned Officer/His Honor Black Bears/literally whatever you wanted and could manage. All doors were artificially and unfairly held wide open to you. What happened? Was it the same sort of shamans/idiots that so very clearly beat/whatever the thinking and experimental side out of your ancestors for thousands of years, thus explaining the europeans easy conquest of said shamans' peoples with far more advanced weapons than they'd ever even imagined possible?
