I wouldn't be too concerned about JetBlue...

Why would someone want to fly on a US regional jet or older a/c when they can fly on a new jet blue 190 with live tv?

So they can earn frequent flyer status and miles useful for taking them to worldwide destinations, that's why. With B6, you get neither. B6 is great for the "always buy the cheapest fare and never fly the same airline twice" crowd. For frequent flyers who fly all over the world, B6 isn't on the short list of realistic options.

Give a book, magazine etc. any time of the day before the TV...

My cable consists of 80ish channels, and how many do we actually watch??? Garbage and more garbage; Our TV's do come with an off button, thankfully ;)

Friends have flown on JBLU. Their kids loved if for the 2+hour flight to FLA, as can be expected.

But the E190's sure beats the Dash8 or the 50 seat regionals. That depends more on the operator, though.
