HMMM...wonder where wonder boy is on all this IAM bashing...must be at a union meeting trying to interpret the contract before posting the FACTS.Hey Scat, I was always told (by union officials) what it comes down to is "Letters of intent". You know, the letters we never get to see. Therefore black & white plainspeak means nothing. Also just so everyone knows I was a steward for apprx. 8 years, so I occasionally was naive enough to think I understood our contract.
If you take a job any higher then a front line foreman you lose all seniority in the classification.
If you take a front line foreman's job and pay your dues for six months you acrrue six months more seniority, after the sixth month you stand still and everyone else passes you pay on a daily basis.
Glad to see you can only insult once again.
Have you read The Scarlett Letter lately?
