There were six, not three.

The only person complaining was a white woman with her hair on fire. I would have tossed her, with prejudice, probably losing my shoe in the process.

The entire Imam incidcent boils down to one thing and one thing only - a persons behavior. Why is this any different then when we deny a person boarding due to intoxication. It isn't because of their race - it is because of their behavior. IS it any different then the person that is returned to the gate for refusing to discontinue their cell phone usage, no - it is their behavior. In todays post 9/11 society, any person exhibiting suspicious behavior will be subject to additional screening and the possibility of being denied boarding - DUE TO THEIR BEHAVIOR, not the color of their skin.

We deny people boarding every single day....never because of race, creed, color, religion or sexual preference......we do it based on their inappropriate behavior.

It may not be perfect but it is free and this freedom was won with the sacrifices of many citizens and non citizens who believed in the USA. Way back in the day,around 1979.I was traveling will in the navy,I was headed through the Frenso terminal to catch a Delta Flt to LAX.While they were looking through my bag ( pre exray days) they hand searched carry ons then.I made a statement that dont worry theres nothing but dirty under wear in there.Although not the smartest of comments it did not deserve what came next.The security guard hand cuffed me and took me out side the terminal onto the ramp and pushed me back against a wall and pulled out his club raised it in the air and now be a smarta$$ to me.
At this very moment when I was seeing my life flash before me a Airforce jeep pulled up and spoiled his fun.I guess this guy just didnt like Sailors.But to this day I have never filed a complaint to Delta or The Airport authority.

I relate this whole insident to the fact that at the time we had hostages in Iran,and this security guard was just a little stressed,lol poor BAST%^D.... Like he was the one going to die to get em back...not. :down:

I personally have no beef with religious folks of any denomination, but IMO these Imams definitely had an agenda with this stunt. I think their lawyers will try to use our own laws and freedoms against us. I also believe that they should not be able to access any pre-911 complaint records, as they would undoubtedly skew any info in their client's favor. The imans were correct (former ALPA safety dude). USAirways should be the losers on this. The captain should have tossed the objecting non-islamic protester. The one passenger who had a problem with the imans should have been evicted from the plane, actually, IMO, shot.
