On my last trip, while stocking the cart, I noticed a dot on the bottom of a soda can. It was blue in color. I looked at other soda cans, different flavors, and they too had the dot. Not a perfect dot, more like a smudgy dot. Different flavors had a different color dot. The yellow dot is barely noticable, I had to turn the can sideways to catch it in the light.Anyone else notice this? I wonder why its there. Anyone??

Well rumors will fly but I just bought a case of Coke from a store called Wegmans where I live and the cans have a purple dot on the bottom of them. So the dots are NOT to see if you stole anything during a bag check.

Most likely some sort of a batch, or date code. I seem to recall that being some way to tell the newer and older stock apart without having to read the date code on each can...Nothing to worry about... 😛h34r:

Don't take the cans on your ron, it shows that they came off of the aircraft. I have been told this by catering in ckt and phl.
