Is non-revving reasonable?

Considering trying to non-rev on WN IAD-MDW and back in August. Am I insane for considering this in the peak travel season? I was always under the impression that IAD-MDW posted fairly low load factors (compared to the rest of WN's system) and with 6 flights a day I figure it should be doable absent weather issues, but I would be bringing my wife + daughter as well. Any comments?

Sharon in SAT can give you a better idea, but my non-answer is, "it depends". 🙄

Another thing to think about is events at either end, in the general area. I was trying to get to DC, during the Preakness, and it was impossible.

I checked the loads in and out of IAD-MDW during the week mid Aug. Availability looks pretty good for non- revs and I really don't think you'll have a problem. You will need to list by calling 866 3597967. Good luck and hope this helps. 🙂
