I had a call bell go off. Do I get the pax who wants a drink, a pillow, a blanket...ah NO...he wants a lint brush for all the lint on his white shirt that was left by our 'Cheap ass blankets'. "Sir I'm sorry, I don't have a lint brush"..."well I want a roll of tape then"! "Sir I apologise most humbly, but this is after all a plane cruising at 32 thousand feet, not Office Max". "What's your name...What are you going to do about my shirt...I have an important office meeting"!!!! "Go call your Captian, I want this airplane met with a lint brush!!!!" Believe it or not...we were met with a roll of duck tape...the wonder cure.

You mean this airline doesn't keep a lint brush in an emergency kit? 😱

All passenger planes should have this on board if needed to remove lint and secure passengers if needed.

We're low cost now...
We used to have it, along with stationary, playing cards, nice amenity kits...
Geez, I’ve got a box of stuff like that…

One time we pulled up next to a Concorde (in a DC-9 of course) at JFK during the British Airways thing. All the PAX and crew had left, but it hadn’t been cleaned yet.

So I’ve got a ton of Concorde stuff too.

So, do I complain to Mesa, to US, or both? None of my 5 complaints in the past 2 months have received a response so I don't know if anyone in US management cares about customer service any more.[/i]

Saw on USToday that they are looking for temp help in Tempe at Customer Relations. Seems theres a backlog of complaints to be addressed and they dont have enough people to work there. Starting pay is $8.50/hr with overtime possible. The job will last from 2 weeks to 3 months. Friends and family members of current employees are encouraged to sign up.

What is the drug of choice in Tempe? 😛h34r:

Tell him the lint is the least of his problems.
He should be more worried about the cooties!
What a dumbazz. 🙄
So, Did he use the duct tape?

I was in row 16, the second exit row on the CRJ-900 (awful plane). The FA came back and made the usual "you are seated in an exit row" speech. She asked the passengers in row 15 to verbally indicated their agreement by saying "yes". She then stepped back gto row 16 and asked us to indicate our agreement. The woman next to me said "yup". The FA, in a very rude voice, told her to repeat what the FA has said. The woman said, "I am in the exit row and I agree that I am able and willing to help the other passengers in case of emergency". The FA replied, "No maam, you are to help the flight attendants. What did I say next?" The woman replied, "indicate agreement verbally". The FA corrected her, "By saying yes. You said 'yup', not 'yes'."

Same thing happened to me on HP. I answered "yeah". She yelled, "Answer with a YES! A YES or a NO!"

Someone may have used it as a "monkey blanket" on a previous flight!

I would have had some fun with this F/A. There is so much you could have done. You could have whispered "yes", Said it with a thick accent, talked like someone from the Loud family from Saturday Night Live, or said in it military terms like "roger that" or affirmative. If you are to assist the F/A you could question about your cut of their salary. What a piece of work.

<_< That is classic Mesa behavior. How much longer are our passengers going to have to put up with the bad attitudes of Mesa flight crews? The East gave them the boot already....what about the west?

Another fun one to do is, ""I'm confused, I've never flown on this Aircraft type, How exactly does this door work, The instructions were pretty clear but I want to be sure!"

Good one...... make 'em do extra work for asking you in such a manner.

A monkey blankey?

Mayhaps it was utilized as 'restroom' TP! 🙄
