J&J discontinues negotiated air travel program with US

OH MY, now that is a GOOD one. Oh, I can't stop laughing. How long did it take you to figure that one out?

There was no secrecy with this policy. They are pleased to let everyone know how US has crapped all over them.
So let's see the link to the public announcement. Maybe someone else working for J&J to substantiate the story? Maybe something to prove this whole thing wasn't made up by someone who craves attention (those folks make the "best" customers).

Yes, I have Narcissistic Personality Disorder and made the whole thing up. Deep down I think the airlines should rape us like they did in the 90's. 🙄

I mean if the corp discount is gone, that stinks for J&J and probably costs US some business, but if a public US fare is cheaper than one of the contract fares, is J&J really going to eschew it in favor of a more expensive contract fare? That seems silly to me.

I suppose if US is really going to be a LCC, their fares will be reasonable and won't be discounted to anyone, which cuts out the cost of a fancy corporate sales department. But US doesn't have reasonable fares like a LCC yet...
 
And HP_FA if you are former employee, you are the fool, not me. I don't go to message boards of my old employer to talk about my big bad self and how I used to put the customer in their place while providing what you perceive to be good customer service. It's time for you to get over yourself. You leave the company, maybe some of your co-workers care, but the management team could care less. Buy-bye. As US1's leave, they will feel it in their pocket and we all know that is what counts around here.

This isn't my old employer's message board. It is a message board regarding LCC. Like you, I am also now a passenger. I just happen to now have many friends still working there.

Right, I doubt they prohibited travel on US. Just their other discounts are now probably almost always cheaper than US. No reasonable corporation would "prohibit" travel on a carrier if that carrier had the lowest fare with a nonstop flight. If they do, they're nuts.

Whining, crying, boo hooing, authorized spokesman for his company, threats, being a baby, inability to get over something and theirselves. And whatever else I missed.

Wheres Pineybob I swear he sounds like him.
 
I don't fly under a corporate discount, but I have to say since US pissed me off, I've been enjoying flying jetBlue for around the same fare (or less) and even though it's in coach and there are sometimes JFK delays, at least I can watch TV while sitting on the taxiway. The inflight service is just as good as US First, just no free booze... but they do tend to comp it if the slightest thing goes wrong with the flight or it is delayed. Most of the employees can fit up the aisle and while some are young and immature or even rude like some JFK agents, they're no worse than what I've dealt with at PHL over the last few years.

Also funny that these A320s are running an average 80% load factor out of here. On one of my last US flights, I was one of about four people in First on an A321 on a weekday morning departure. Coach was fairly sparse too.

I also enjoy sending copies of my jetBlue boarding passes to US Airways consumer affairs on days I'm feeling particularly vindictive.

Feel free to post your positives over on JetBlues board. I am sure they would enjoy it. Or is it just more fun to get vindictive over here with the USAirways employees?
