If these clowns come back with another update hissing about temp agents, I'm going to start putting up videos and my dirty laundry again with my miller 64 or mic ultra and start calling them out by name and telling them to stop hissing and sweating about the small stuff. One thing that will drive the wedge into non section 6 negotiations is sweating the small things.  Our AGC's total compensation is about $160,000.  They have a salary of around $120,000,  get a personal allowance of a couple hundred dollars a month, per diems, 2 pensions, short term disability, paid health care, long term disability, etc., and so they don't care.  More importantly, they seem to lack any understanding that they aren't going to negotiate an exhaustive contract when the company already realized synergies and doesn't even have to bother negotiating for a few years.  The videos cometh.  Like them or hate them, there is going to be a different voice in town.  And if these guys can't close out a TA by this fall then we may miss our window.  If they miss the window and we get hosed out of this tremendous opportunity then all of them need to get voted out.   Hopefully, Lombardo cleans this crap up when he is inserted on August 1. Sito seems to have lost his way.

regards,

regards,

Do you mind smokin a doobie in your next video? I think that would be classic and I'd worship the ground you walk on if you got the cajones.

And I thought Sito was your boy? What happened? Didn't you have him on speed dial?

I'll mention weAAsles.  I'll do that.  I'll be mentioning many names and it's not going to be pretty. This is very very disturbing that we are pushing the company away as we sweat over small things. And the money is very very important.  If it was only a 50 cent pay raise then I can understand someone saying "It's not about the money", but this money is significant and picking up more stations is significant. Keeping other things is significant.  Stalling talks over temp agents is not suppose to be significant.  The video will be fashioned after a thorough review of the next negotiation update. If the next update is another piss and moan about management then I'm gonna phone home to our negotiators in a video.

Trust me, if these guys miss their window and fail at securing the industry leading wages they promised and picking up some more stations then there will be HELL TO PAY.  S* better happen no later than the fall otherwise we are all screwed over these morons.

Oh Dude you really got to do another one. You have me on the floor every time. I promise I'll be the one to send it off to everyone I know personally.

Can you do the "I don't know, I don't know" routine again?

Classic.

Tim, you mention Temps being one of the small items holding things up, and for the record, I have no problem with temps as long as they are on the ready to work once the OT lists are exhausted for both full and part time workers...along with Temps Tim, what else would you consider small that may be holding up negotiations. Would you be OK with another work group getting more sick time or vacation than our group? Would you trade catering and cargo for enhancements in other areas? What else is causing the delay?

"We informed the company that we are not interested in Temporary Employees and our position has not changed to eliminate this provision. The company is currently unwilling to move from their position, with arguments that are baseless and contentious."

The contention and plug in negotiations seems to have started here. We have hardened our stance and want a complete abolishment of the TWU temp agent language, which btw isn't even used much. Prior to that, the negotiation team reported that the previous 17 ta's were enhancements to previous language. So, it does appear that the company was moving but also will not be bullied and will NOT move on all the minor issues. Thus, Mr Glass dropped the hammer this week to show that he can be unbending as well. So, as our negotiators hiss over temp agents, the company position seems to have grown distant. Stop sweating the small stuff. STOP IT.

Although the video will be very very serious over very very important things, I'm willing to toss in some light hearted stuff as well. Any suggestions?
