JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Tim lets hypothetically say 2 bucks for each of the LUS employees goes into the IAMPF and say next yr the IAMPF slices chunk off it off to me that would pretty much be a waste of all that money the company would put into it at 2 bucks for every hr each individual LUS works?
Yep. Not sure how the cut is coming though. With the IAM Motor city pension, they negotiated $2.50 and told everyone the pension was safe. Then they negotiated $3 per hour at the F expense of health care then stole the whole pension, even those that are retired (pending with the US treasury). But my info says lus will NOT get a choice, only twu.

I always said (and you disagree) take care of the people here first. Why hire an extra pizza delivery person full time when you only need him on Friday and Saturday in other words cover with overtime. If they do hire the extra guy and business is bad I would hope they would let him go before asking all the drivers to take a cut. Sound familiar?

Jesus.

🙄

How about heated seats and steering wheel and nav package too?

So many other Articles and issues that should be considered and addressed. Many have historically not been addressed or considered with recent agreements. Very important to get this right. We'll be living with the consequences for quite a long time. On the other hand; I can understand members' frustration with how long this JCBA negotiations have taken. Speak now or forever hold your peace so to speak.

Yes closer to LUS for sure. The key for scope, for me anyway, is to protect what we currently have, and then come to a fair flight threshold that will bring back some stations as Tim mentioned. If we can protect work we currently have, then we can bend a little bit off the 1 flight a day in order to bring back some stations once lost.

It would b nice to have both but i think you are spot on. The last contract was done great along these lines.

People can make do without the heated seats and nav options. But I think a steering wheel could be a necessity?

I wouldn't buy a car without one myself.

Tim 1 flight a day sounds great and it is but it's not like they are opening cities with 1 flight, we are just keeping all the cities we had, again good but why should we give up anything in this environment

I know , I know IGM , one way Karma, I'm going to hell..... Kev you okay with those road crews one guy digging 5 watching?

The 5 guys watching are on lunch and the one guy is a Junior who came in under the new agreement. No contractual lunch for him. 2 pee breaks 5 minutes each and a flask fill every hour.

You are the very definition of IGM, except that you really don't "got" much.

As for OT, when I was a new lead, grown men would beg me for it. It was disgusting. WeAAsles is right; the right way to build a CBA is to structure it so people don't ever have to work IT if they don't want to.

that should not be the only choice if its gonna be fair give a choice to the entire group btwn this and the 401K and Id bet 401K would win

I believe """IF""" Tim is getting behind the scenes information, that information may be coming from Ford and Harrison? Not all items he's divulging may have been accepted (If not made up period)

But """"IF"""" Tim is right Robbed on his financials what we will be gaining is another 6% in wages from where we are right now. If you have so little confidence (Understandably) in the IAMNPF you can take that extra 6% and consider socking that into your 401k if possible for you?

UAL does get around $2.00 into the IAMPF AND a 3% Match. But I would be more than happy to have that 3% or more placed into direct wages where "I" can decide how to invest rather than it being decided for me.

Any city that has a Unionized AA Agent working upstairs, should also have a Unionized AA Ramp Agent working downstairs as well.

If there winds up being a trade off in other areas for just maintaining the status quo instead I'd like to hear that explanation of what that is and why?
