JCBA Negotiations and updates for AA Fleet

Ahh there you go!! See that didn’t hurt too bad did it?? And you are 100% correct, I have mentioned section 6 probably in every break room I have briefed. It’s called educating the membership. They need to know the difference between section 6 talks and what we are in now. And I’ve also been asked probably in every break room what happens if we can’t reach an agreement now. So these are the reasons section 6 came up, nothing to do with stalling. And I didn’t ask you to dime anyone out. I don’t need that info. I already have it. I have several people that let’s me know who they are. Your not the only one with connections my friend.
And let’s just clarify now that everyone knows what I said( thanks for admitting it) if you go back and read my email,that you called fraud, that’s how I explained I used section 6 talks in the break rooms. Answering questions about section 6 is in no way stalling!!!


Yea but what about the accusation that YOU single handedly (Or with Fairbanks I don’t know) are responsible for the DOOM AND DESTRUCTION of 180,000 well paid Ramp agent jobs at United Airlines? You know what you did, now FESS UP.

Or Tim just can’t understand how to read the Contract maybe? Yea this is probably what it really is.
 
cb is there any possible 4 days 10 hr shifts that could also be in the jcba? having something like that whereas peeps would have 3 days off would be something that would appeal to some folks esp if their days off floats near weekends n vacation

You do know that that is in your current contract don’t you? We have a few stations that use them today. I don’t see us losing that in the jcba.

Tim you are kind of implying that YOU were on the line? Did you go to the Wrigley Field picket?

Cb has refused to arbitrate it. Harbison's one hour rule held up until delaney/fairbanks. Harbinson wasnt a pushover so he reinterpreted the language to fairbanks (could have been crowell) and fairbanks has agreed. He coached CB to fixate on the word "single". Obviously no single full timer could fill anything more than 8.5 hours. Thankfully, thats a fake interpretation. But CB bit hard on it and isnt listening. CB is pretty much our only chance to fix that but he hasnt shown any willingness to stand up to fairbanks.

Otherwise, i dont think a supervised election is rigged. When we have lost in the past it was due to not having the inherent infrastructure as incumbants. That hasnt changed but we still have to force democracy to keep things accountable....and sometimes incumbants do lose. Who knows, but if my team wins, we wont have to worry about back to back because we will initiate arbitration processes immediately.

You PIEDMONT boys have been pissing on each other since day one when Teamster's were out and IAM was in negotiating our first CBA . DP/AAL play you like a fiddle with your BS IAM politics and personal vendetta's . As both you and CB know there are AGC's from USAir who no the history of why PT language stayed in IAM CBA's past/present . My bet is stations like BOS,PHL, and PIT to name a few don't have "back to back" PT (3-6.5 hrs. ) lines to cover FT lines of 8.5 on shift's 1 ,2, or 3 ? Have you both checked with those IAM Members ? Bottom line is it need's to be grieved now or arbitrated, regardless of station or politics and language changed in JCBN's for ALL . CHEERS !

Yes. But first to clarify, we are only speaking of the 6.5 before. Clt does not have back to back 4, or 5 hour shifts, at least they didn’t have. I am not there for the bid now. It was the 6.5 back to back that was the issue. And yes Phl does have those too. But if it’s back to back to back as Tim is saying, then yes it needs to be grieved and I have already posted that I would check with the committee.

Oh but i did. I picketed with rich johnson and keith kmilek. I wouldnt miss picketing against corporate greed of this company and nobody has to tell me. And its not detrimental. Even had my machinists shirt on.

Now I can see why this contract will not get done for SOME time! We have two unions with seperate agendas and no sense of unity or support. The package (Alliance) looks all shiny and perfect from the outside as the members look at the package. What they don’t see on the inside is the disarray and lack of commitment that the TWU and IAM have for each other. This may end up coming down to a vote and may the strongest Union exist after the votes are tallied.

Also 6.5 shifts last checked is not used except in a few stations. Contractually they can be, but last we checked the system, there was only a few stations that use them. Predominately Phl and Clt.

Maybe you could make a copy of that picket sign and send it down to CLT so the IAM can see what they look like in person. Then you should attach a how to use instruction sheet, but make sure the language is correct or they will not be able to use them.

no sir was not aware bec in BWI they never have had it it had been discussed previously but nothing ever came about
